How Waybill Global Logistics collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website or send a shipment with us.

Last updated 13 August 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Waybill Global Logistics. We arrange the movement of freight by air, ocean and road, and we provide shipment tracking through this website.

This policy explains what personal information we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, please contact us using the details at the end of this page.

2. Information you give us

When you send a message through our contact form we collect your name, your mail address, the subject you choose and the content of your message. We use this only to answer you.

3. Shipment information

When a business books a shipment with us, we record the details needed to move and track it. This includes the origin, the destination, a description of the goods, the estimated delivery date, and the name and mail address of the person receiving the shipment.

Recipient details are usually given to us by the sender rather than by the recipient. We use them to move the shipment and to send notifications about its progress.

Our public tracking page is deliberately limited. It shows the status, the locations and the timeline of a shipment, and it shortens the recipient name so that it can be recognised without being exposed. It never displays a mail address, a telephone number or a street address.

4. Information collected automatically

Our server keeps standard access logs. These record the address your request came from, the pages requested, the time of the request and basic browser information. We use them to keep the service running, to investigate faults and to detect abuse.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling or social media pixels on this website.

5. Cookies

This website sets one cookie, and it is strictly necessary. It holds a security token that protects our contact form against forged submissions from other websites. It contains no personal information, it cannot be read by other sites, and it expires after four hours.

Because this cookie is essential to the security of a form you choose to use, no consent banner is required for it. If you block cookies entirely, the contact form will not submit, but the rest of the website will work normally.

6. How we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes and no others.

  • To answer enquiries you send us
  • To arrange, carry out and track the shipments we handle
  • To notify a recipient when the status of their shipment changes
  • To meet customs, tax and other legal obligations that apply to freight
  • To keep this website secure and working correctly

7. Who we share information with

Moving freight requires other parties to be involved. We share only what each one needs.

  • Carriers, airlines, shipping lines and delivery agents handling your consignment
  • Customs authorities and border agencies where the law requires it
  • Service providers who host our website or deliver our mail notifications
  • Professional advisers, or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising or marketing by anyone else.

8. How long we keep information

Shipment records and their tracking history are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy the record keeping periods that apply to freight and customs, after which they are deleted.

Contact form enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch.

Server access logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

9. How we protect information

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to shipment records is restricted to authorised staff who sign in with individual accounts, and passwords are stored in scrambled form so that nobody, including us, can read them.

Our administration area is protected against unauthorised access, and every form submission is validated on the server before anything is recorded.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted where we no longer need it, or to object to how we are using it.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, particularly where a request concerns shipment records, because releasing them to the wrong person would itself be a breach.

11. Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults arranging freight. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. We encourage you to check it from time to time.

13. Customer Service

For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your information, please use the contact details on our contact page.

Our team will be glad to explain anything on this page.
